Okay, I’ll admit this isn’t exactly a supplement and it’s a little controversial.
When we go out in the sun, our body converts sunlight into vitamin D3. We have millions of receptors on our skin. Our bodies were made to be out in the sun and soak up the rays!
Yes, there are vitamin D supplements out there, but those are not the same as vitamin D that our body actually needs. Our body requires vitamin D from the sun.
Synthetic vitamin D supplemets are oil soluable and do not benfit us the same way as vitamin D from the sun. Vitamin D from sunshine is water soluable and moves thorughout our bloodstream. It protects us against harmful bacteria, fungi, and viruses.
So go outside and get your vitamin D! Even just 5-10 minutes is better than nothing 🙂
