I include red onion in this dish because I can tolerate it in my animal based diet. If you cannot tolerate red onion, or you simply do not want to eat any plant foods that are not on the low toxin list, then you can skip the red onion! This dish will still taste incredible with or without the onion.😊

Animal Based Pasta Salad

What You’ll Need
Ingredients:
- 1 package(12 oz) Jovial brown rice bowtie pasta
- 2 cups organic red grapes (halved)
- 1 cup Chosen Foods mayo
- 1/3 cup diced organic red onion (if well-tolerated)
- 1/3 cup red wine vinegar
- 1/4 cup organic raw honey
- 1 tsp Redmond’s Real Salt
- 1 pack of sugar-free bacon
Equipment:
- A pot to cook the pasta
- A baking sheet for the bacon
- Parchment paper
- A big bowl
- Whisk for stirring the sauce
- Spoon for serving

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Bake bacon in a shallow pan lined with parchment paper for 12-15 minutes or until crispy.
- Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook pasta according to package directions. Drain cooked pasta, rinse it with cool water, then set aside.
- Whisk mayo, honey, red onion (if using), red wine vinegar, salt, and red wine vinegar in a bowl until creamy.
- Cut grapes in half and put them in a bowl. Chop the bacon into bite-sized pieces and put them in the bowl with the grapes. Put the cooled pasta in the bowl.
- Pour the mayo mixture over the pasta, grapes, and bacon. Stir until everything is coated.
- Store in the fridge and serve cold.
