Here are some easy animal based meals that are perfect when you don’t know what to eat or don’t feel like cooking.
Animal based meals don’t have to be complicated. If you’re anything like me, then you need easy, quick animal based meals you can make in under 15 minutes.
Most of the time I don’t feel like cooking, especially after a long work day. Sometimes it’s fun to get creative in the kitchen and spend hours cooking, but that doesn’t happen very often. I’m sure you can relate!
That’s why I came up with this list of animal based meals that require no cooking and barely any prep. They take like 5 minutes to make, so you can have an easy filling meal in no time!
This post is all about the best animal based meals that require little to no prep.

1. Rotisserie Chicken
This is my favorite no-cook animal based meal. It’s more carnivore than animal based, but you could easily pair it with some rice and avocado to make it a filling animal based meal.
My favorite rotisserie chicken is from Whole Foods because the ingredients are just chicken, salt, and pepper.
A lot of grocery stores fill their chickens with sugar, gums, and other nasty ingredients so be sure to check the label before you buy!
2. Scrambled Eggs
This is one of my go-to breakfasts and I even make it for dinner sometimes when I’m in a rut. It takes five minutes and it’s so good with some shredded raw cheddar on top.
3. Tuna Salad
My boyfriend makes the most delicious tuna salad so whenever I don’t feel like cooking, this is my go-to meal I ask him to make. It’s literally just canned tuna, mayo, and salt. So easy and delicious!
4. Egg Salad
This meal requires a little bit of prep since you have to boil the eggs and cook the bacon beforehand, but it’s easy to boil a big batch of eggs and bake some bacon and have them on hand for the week.
You just mash the boiled eggs, chop the bacon, and put it in a bowl with some mayo and salt. Very flavorful and filling!
5. Carnivore Bar
I love the Carnivore bar as the perfect meal replacement. Each bar contains 400-420 calories of grass-fed, grass-finished superior meat from Joyce Farms. It is PACKED with nutrition. They’re great to take to work or eat when you seriously don’t wanna do any meal prep or cooking.
6. Charcuterie Board
I love making charcuterie boards, especially for lunch. They’re so delicious! All you need is some raw cheese, fruit such as grapes, dried fruit such as figs, and meat such as pepperoni. Best meal ever!
I like this charcuter board a lot because it comes with a lid to keep your food fresh and secure. It makes it so easy to transport to work or to a party.
7. Animal Based Soup
Soup is one of those meals that’s so easy to whip up with whatever you have on hand. Just throw it in a pot, let it cook, and that’s it! Takes no more than 15 minutes at the most.
This is one of my favorite soup recipes:
