What You’ll Need
- A blender (I love my Vitamix. It’s the best blender on the market)
- Containers to store your ice cream (Use glass or stainless steel containers so that it’s non toxic)
Ingredients
- 4 pasture raised egg yolks
- 1 cup of raw cream or heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 cup raw milk or grass-fed organic A2 milk
- 1/4 cup raw organic honey
- Pinch of Redmond’s Real salt
- Flavor of your choice (I chose mint chocolate chip!)
For my mint chip ice cream I added a dash of peppermint extract and cacao nibs. If you want to make chocolate ice cream, add some cacao. For strawberry, add organic strawberries. There are endless flavor possibilities! One of my favorites is mango flavored!
Instructions
- Put everything into the blender and blend on low speed.
- Once it is all blended together and smooth, grab your cute ice cream containers and pour the ice cream into them.
- Put the containers in the freezer. After about 2 hours, check your ice cream and give it a stir to make sure it’s not separating. I added my cacao nibs at this time.
- You’re ice cream should be ready to eat after about 4-6 hours. Enjoy!
Tip: If your ice cream is too hard when you want to eat it, just let it sit out for a little bit to soften it up.
