Best Hydration Hacks
1. LMNT Electrolyte Powder
LMNT is the best electrolyte powder on the market to keep you hydrated. This is my absolute FAVORITE way to stay hydrated. All of the flavors LMNT offers are delicious.
Unlike other hydration powders, LMNT does not use any sugar, artificial colorings, or unnecessary filler ingredients. LMNT is only filled with what your body needs.
It contains 200mg of potassium, 60mg of magnesium, and 1,000 mg of sodium.
The government tells us sodium is “bad” and we need to limit our intake, but according to scientific research, our bodies need 4-6g of sodium per day. That’s 2-3x more than what the government recommends!
Once you start incorporating LMNT into your daily water intake, you will feel like a switch has flipped. You will start to feel like drinking enough water is not a struggle anymore and you’re not constantly thirsty.
It doesn’t matter if you’re an athlete or not. Everyone needs these electrolytes in their water in order to stay properly hydrated.
2. Salt Water
This is the most accessible hydration hack that anyone can do. All you need is sea salt!
I love this salt from Costco because it is a huge container for a small price.
Just add a pinch of sea salt to 12 ounces of distilled or reverse osmosis water.
Just like we talked about earlier, sodium is essential to our well-being, so by adding just a pinch of salt to your water every day, you’re going to feel incredible benefits.
If you want to get fancy, try adding lemon, mint, cucumber, or a combination of the three! This will improve the taste of the water and make it even more refreshing and nutritious.
3. Water Rich Foods
Don’t underestimate the power of water rich foods! We need about 20% of our daily water intake from the food we eat.
Some of the most water rich foods include:
- Lettuce
- Tomato
- Cucumber
- Watermelon
- Mushrooms
- Celery
- Radishes
- Zucchini
- Peppers
- Apples
- Strawberries
- Asparagus
- Spinach
4. Spring Water
Alive Water is fresh, raw, spring water sourced from 2 rare springs which have absolutely zero traces of industrial age contamination. It also comes in reusable glass containers that are the best for our health and environment.
This spring water naturally contains the essential electrolytes magnesium, potassium, calcium, and sodium.
The Alive Water company is also carbon neutral. We love it!

Unlike Springwater, artisan water comes from underground and is untouched by any surface water. It moves naturally to the Earth’s surface due to pressure.
The water flows through rocks and sediment that are rich with minerals, so the water is beautifully enhanced with essential nutrients.
This water is bottled directly at the source and also comes in reusable glass bottles. It only goes through 2 filtration processes to make sure it is as clean, safe, and natural as possible.
If you’re located near Charleston, SC, you can pick up Oconee Water at Wildcraft!
